La Tour d’Aigues, Vaucluse’s village

Located in the southern part of the Luberon, La Tour d’Aigues is a pretty village perched on a hillock on the banks of the Eze River. Surrounded by vast cultivated plains and vineyards which produce famous wines. Not to be missed: the ruins of the Renaissance-style castle, its restored cellars which house museums and exhibitions. The church of Notre Dame de Romegas (built gradually from the 13th to the 18th centuries) protects the access to the old village.
