The Massif des Ocres of Roussillon

The Massif des Ocres is one of the most remarkable landscape of the Luberon region. It extends 25 kilometers from Saint-Pantaleon to Viens at the foot of the Monts du Vaucluse. Beautiful and unusual range of colors of sand from dark red to golden yellow, the landscape retains the memory of an intense mining conducted in the nineteenth and early twentieth century.
